The City of Lusaka is a hive of activity and in the music
industry every day there is a new song, a new artist, a new sound. It is this
scenario that makes it difficult for a new artist to be heard and noticed. For
one to catch the attention of the masses they would have to be something
special…
And that is exactly what Chisamo is – special. When you
listen to her first two singles “Nizaku lila bwanji” and “Thandiwe” one can
feel the heart and soul that goes into her singing, the passion.
Chisamo’s ability to tell a story with emotion is what
saw “Nizaku lila bwanji” climb all the way to number 3 on Hot FM’s top 10
